We have had a lot happen in the lab -- new branches for the monkeys at Christmas, and other highs and lows. Most recently we lost our twins, Encore and Forté, who would have turned 22 this April. They both tried valiantly to keep on with us and we spent every waking minute with them for the last 2 weeks of their lives, but we lost the battle. I can tell you they each left this world peacefully. I gathered some pictures and videos of them throughout their lives and Maddie Thall (THANK YOU) made a beautiful memorial video. Please watch, and cry, and smile. Grief is just love with nowhere to go. It's okay to feel it.
